We offer a sustainable mode of transportation: the bicycle. However, we don’t just make bicycles. We are constantly working on innovations in sustainable mobility and on promoting health and safety. We focus primarily on new technologies, new materials, new manufacturing processes and business models, information technology, and connectivity.

Of course, this includes an open and professional culture, as well as appropriate training and career opportunities. For years, we have paid special attention to people who are excluded from the labor market, and we work with numerous sheltered workshops.
We aim to reduce our company’s energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions, both in our manufacturing operations and in our shipping processes. We aim to minimize the environmental impact of our waste. We are working to reduce the use of packaging materials for bicycles and to replace plastic films and plastics with materials based on renewable raw materials. We track our own waste streams and sort them as much as possible.
As one of the leading companies in the international bicycle industry, we are committed to the common interests of the sector. Together with the World Federation of Sports Goods Industries (WFSGI) and several key players in the bicycle industry, we have established a framework for corporate responsibility within the international bicycle industry supply chain. We have created a Code of Conduct for our suppliers, in which they commit to adhering to internationally accepted standards of labor and human rights. Responsible handling of chemicals and compliance with the provisions of the European regulation on the registration of chemicals (REACH) are also part of our supplier policy.
Through the media and/or expert analyses, we regularly consult with stakeholders to determine whether our vision, strategy, and/or priorities need to be updated.
The Accell Group has a flat organizational structure, consisting of a parent company and subsidiaries.
Some of our subsidiaries employ 20 people, while others have more than 500 employees.
The company determines the strategy and framework of the CSR policy. The managers of the subsidiaries are responsible for the local interpretation and implementation of the Accell Group’s CSR policy. To this end, we have appointed a manager responsible for implementing the Accell Corporate Sustainability Initiative (ACSI). Under the supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, the team manages the ACSI managers and the implementation of CSR policies through a CSR coordinator.
